As we got to the back of the forst hangar Kelly sugested that we should walk back and see if we could see them moving something around. There was a barrier across the back door but we could still watch what was going on. As we were standing there a man came over and I just asked what was going on. He said, "it's a little slow right now, just stay close." He moved the barrier and let us in.
The man turned out to be the boss of the whole place and he gave up the tour of our lives!
He took us along the back hangar telling us where each aircraft came from and why it's there and it's history. I told how much I loved the Pavelow and the Warthog and he took us right over to it and inside! I got to sit in the Cockpit and play with all of the controls and he explained all of the buttons and I'm still trying to wipe the grin off of my face! He told us all the paces it had been. We got to see all of the soldiers signatures that had flown in it and everything else there could be to know. It was amazing!
We than walked over to the A10 Warthog and he started telling us about that one when he walked over and moved the barrier and explained how to climb up in. It took me a few seconds to realize he was telling me to climb up! I got up into the coolest jet out there and just played. He then lifted Jake up so he could try it out too. It was great fun but Jake liked what came next a lot more.
Last time we were at Chuck E Cheese a lady was leaving the same time we were and just handed us a cup full of about 75 tokens. She just said she didn't live around here. So for about two hours we just waisted a whole bunch of tokens. Jake just got to do whatever he wanted to do. Even th dumb ones where you just roll in a token and hope for some tickets. This time it was Jake who couldn't stop grinning!
So we had a great 4th of July but I think it will be forever trumped by the amazing 6th that may never be matched.
Looking out into the Hangar form the A10
Looking down on the F16. It was a neat vantage point.
This was amazing! I have always wanted to sit n the A10! I was in awe!

I don't really care all that much about boy stuff, you know, guns and planes and stuff...but, that was totally radical! The universe must love you right now. Free Chuck-E-Cheese tokens, now this....You should buy a lotto ticket.
Oh my gosh. Men.
You guys have good karma:) Sounds like a really great weekend. The boy stuff sounds a lot like how my weekends go too.
Don't they have an SR-71 Blackbird? I've heard they do and I want to see that so bad! Those are the coolest. I'm jealous, I think I'm gonna drag Shannon out there now!
